Hand-built, glazed owl created with multiple slabs of clay and hollowed out pieces. The slabs circulate the owl's body giving it textures that are visual and tactile. Approximately 5 1/2 inches tall with 6 inches wide. Created in 4 weeks. Originally created to make a spooky figure from the fall season look more delightful and also was gifted to my mother who loves birds of all kinds. She has over forty birds just in our household, which include ducks, chickens, quails, parrots, and more!
